Jakarta City Tour

This tour covers a visit to National
Museum or "Monas" as it is popularly called, is one of the
monuments built during Soekarno era of fierce nationalism. The
137 meter tall marble obelisk is topped with a flame coated with
35 kgs of gold, it stands for the people determination to achieve
freedom and the crowning of their efforts in the Proclamation
of Independence in August 1945. Then on to Old Sunda Kelapa -
popularly better known as Pasar Ikan (meaning Fish Market) - it
was formerly the harbour town of Sunda Kelapa where the Portuguese
traded with the Hindu Kingdom of Pajajaran in the early 16th century.
The fish caught of the day is auctioned in the early morning at
the old fish market and street leading to it is lined with shop
selling all sort of shells, dehydrated turtles and lobster and
most everything the seafarer might need. Afterwards, proceed to
China Town and National Museum. (Museum is close on Monday)

Indonesia in Miniature Park Tour

Mini is Indonesia Museum - a richly decorated building in Balinese
architecture, it houses contemporary arts and crafts of Indonesia
and traditional costumes from the difference regions of the country.

Bogor Countryside Tour

This tour covering the visit to Bogor
- a beautiful town located 50 kms south of Jakarta - which is famous
for its Botanical Garden that covers an area of 87 hectares, founded
in 1817. It is a "Museum" of thousands of species of plant
life from towering trees to orchids. Here still stands the original
"Javea Braziliensis" rubber tree brought from Brazil and the
world largest flower "Raflesia" which can be seen when in season.
The garden are also used for research.
